The road leading to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport's Terminal 1 baggage claim reopened Sunday morning after a brief closure caused by a truck hitting and damaging an overhead sign Saturday night.
"MSP Airport crews have reopened the lower-level roadway at Terminal 1. All traffic lanes are open," the airport posted on X (formerly Twitter) before 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
On Saturday night, a truck hit an overhead sign on Terminal 1′s inbound roadway, according to an airport spokesperson, and clearing the damage required closing the lower-level roadway.
Drivers heading to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport were told to use the upper roadway to Terminal 1 for both pick-ups and drop-offs.
