The organizers of this summer's Republican National Convention are turning to a Broadway veteran to make sure their event has the polish it needs.
David Nash will be executive producer of the convention that starts Sept. 1 in St. Paul. It will be Nash's fifth consecutive Republican convention in that role.
He has been involved in more than 200 shows on Broadway in a variety of production roles.
Convention President Maria Cino said Nash will have a key role in helping to present presidential candidate John McCain's message.
