Secretary of State Mark Ritchie Wednesday advised Minnesotans who aren't registered to vote to do it now to save time at the polls on Election Day.
The deadline to pre-register is October 12. State law requires Minnesotans to be registered at their current address.
"Registering to vote takes minutes to complete and will save you time at the polls on Nov. 2," Ritchie said.
Voters can use the Secretary of State's online voter registration lookup at www.mnvotes.org to learn whether they are registered at their current address.
