The Boston Bruins received and unveiled their 2011 Stanley Cup championship rings, created by Twin Cities-based Jostens, with the diamond-studded jewelry paying tribute to the franchise's sixth NHL title.

The rings, presented this week to team members and others in the Bruins family, features the iconic Bruins "B" logo and the Stanley Cup, fashioned in custom-cut diamonds set against a background of 14-karat white gold. There are six larger round diamonds on the crest of the ring that represent each Stanley Cup title that the Bruins have won.

One shoulder of the ring is personalized with a player's last name and jersey number. The other shoulder features a diamond-studded Stanley Cup framed on top by "2011" in gold and diamonds.

In all, the team's ownership bought and distributed 505 rings.

Jostens, based in Bloomington and a leading producer of graduation and class ring products, also has made rings for other professional sports champions, including 29 of the 45 winners of the NFL's Super Bowl.
