At 50, dancer and choreographer Jennifer Ilse decided to create her first solo performance. Ilse contemplates living with gender constructs with "The Time Is," presented as part of the Right Here Showcase. Produced by Isles' husband, theater artist Paul Herwig, the showcase's first weekend also features "Habitat," a dance and video work by Non Edwards. Week 2 brings an exploration of beauty and ugliness by photographer/theater artist Blake Nellis, plus dance artist Zhauna Franks taps darkness and light with "Swan Song Studies," a duet performed with Stephanie Fellner.
