Rice takes to Twitter

The Vikings wide receiver says that "Dallas is still the destination" despite the fact he will miss significant time.

Sidney Rice spoke briefly with Chip this morning after undergoing hip surgery Monday. Rice said his surgery had gone well and touched on why he had the procedure performed.

But evidently Rice plans to put more on his blog on Wednesday.

Rice took to Twitter tonight to tell fans "hold ya head ... We have a great case and Dallas is still the destination!!!" (Of course, Dallas is the destination for every NFL team right now.)

Rice then thanked those who have sent him get well wishes and added, "Will blog tomorrow to provide insight on my surgery and what the deciding factor was."

It sounds like Rice's own version of The Decision. Hopefully, Rice will explain what type of surgery he had on his hip since at this point only a select few know what he needed to have repaired.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
