Eight players nursing ailments were listed on the Vikings' first official injury report of the 2016 regular season.

The good news is neither defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd nor linebacker Eric Kendricks were listed after both missed preseason time due to knee and hamstring injuries, respectively.

Only one starting defender is still recovering in cornerback Xavier Rhodes (hamstring), who was limited in Wednesday's practice. Rhodes returned to practice this week after being held out since injuring his leg in the Aug. 18 exhibition in Seattle.

Also limited were receiver Charles Johnson (quadriceps), running back Jerick McKinnon (foot) and tight end Rhett Ellison (knee).

Two players were held out of practice entirely. Tight end MyCole Pruitt (knee) is still nursing a strained medial collateral ligament. Center Nick Easton (ankle) also did not practice.

Left tackle Matt Kalil (hip) and safety Anthony Harris (shoulder) were listed as full participants in Wednesday's practice.
