May 20, 2010 at 8:34PM

Brooklyn Park Police on Thursday announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for fatally shooting a 17-year-old outside a house party in the city earlier this month.

Marquise Woodbury was struck by a bullet in the chest near 82nd Circle and Xerxes Av. N. as he tried to run away from a large fight that ended in gunfire on May 1. Police have interviewed many of the 80 to 100 people who were at the party, but have yet to make any arrests or identify any suspects, said Inspector Todd Milburn.

Woodbury, of Brooklyn Park, was a sophomore at Robbinsdale Cooper High School in New Hope.

Anybody with information is asked to call Brooklyn Park Police at 763-493-8355.
