Returning purchases could cost $$$

Some retailers expect you to do the math when you return discounted items.

Here's something from the annals of retailing that was new to Whistleblower. A woman who bought some items from a purveyor of intimate attire found out that returning part of her purchase actually cost her money:

By badgering the retailer, the consumer got the charges reversed. But she's still flabbergasted.

"Please do something to let others know how ridiculous this is!!"

Is it ridiculous, or is it just a way for retailers to stop scheming customers?
