Retro Fair: the Fire

And a retro reason for it

There are a few reasons I like this picture: one, the old STATE FAIR ARCADE sign. Two, the small, handmade booths that used to predominate the grounds. Three, the reason cited in the story for the 08/28/68 fire:

"Children playing with matches near butane gas tank apparently caused explosions"

Those were the days.

(The kids weren't injured, the story said.)
