If you're hoping for more Leonard Nimoy as the wise old Spock in "Star Trek 2," forget about it. He's planning to retire from acting after his final appearance as Dr. William Bell in TV's "Fringe." "I've been doing this professionally for 60 years. I love the idea of going out on a positive note. I've had a great, great time, but I want to get off the stage," Nimoy, 79, told the Toronto Sun. He added that he wants to give Zachary Quinto, as young Spock, some, um, space. "I don't think it would be fair to Zachary. He's a terrific actor, he looks the part. And I'm very flattered the character will continue." While in Calgary for this weekend's Comic and Entertainment Expo, he'll travel to the town of Vulcan, Alberta, for the unveiling of a bronze Spock bust and a Vulcan salute captured in cement. Live long and prosper, Lenny.
