Rest of workweek will be a bit warmer in Minnesota, but deep freeze will return this weekend

Metro-area highs are expected to be near 18 degrees Wednesday, 30 Thursday and 23 Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Chanhassen.

But by Saturday, frigid air returns, with highs in the single digits.
