Here are some resources for people looking for work or other fulfilling activities after retirement. Two of the book authors, Marc Freedman and Chris Farrell, were among the speakers at Age Boom Academy at Columbia University in New York in June.

Local organizations

SHIFT offers programs and services to help people find fulfilling activities, paid or unpaid, after midlife. (shiftonline.org.)

Vital Aging Network offers education, leadership development and other opportunities for people as they age. (vital-aging-network.org.)

WorkForce Centers, sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development with locations around the state, offer training and other resources for job seekers. (https://mn.gov/deed/job-seekers/workforce-centers.)
