Finally. someone with a sense of decency:
One can understand nixing a reality show, what would they do? "Okay, your daughter is going to sail around the world again, and we're going to film you sitting by the phone looking nervous."
"Uh - why don't you just film her?"
"Well, then she wouldn't be going around the world alone, would she? And it's expensive."
Don't know why they're objecting to a book deal, though. That's what you do when thins like this happen. Wikipedia cites several youths who sailed around the world but themselves, including Australian Jessica Watson, who was also 16, and made the 210-day voyage nonstop. But still, it's good to see someone say no, we won't be fodder for a ridiculous reality show. Well, let's read on:
Oh.
