Republican gubernatorial candidate Patricia Anderson has scheduled a Tuesday morning press conference at which it appears she will announce that she is dropping out of the governor's race and announce that she's running for Auditor instead.
Anderson, who lost the Auditor's job to Democrat Rebecca Otto four years ago, has changed her Twitter account to @Pat4Auditor, now has a Pat Anderson for Auditor Facebook fan page and even a campaign video entitled "Every Penny Counts."
A well-placed source said it was right to speculate that she would quit the governor's race and jump into the race for auditor.
Otto announced Monday she would run for re-election.
