Wide receiver Bobby Wade, who was released last week in a surprise move by the Vikings, is headed to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a Tweet from ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Mortensen reports the Indianapolis Colts also were interested in Wade but that his old team, the Tennessee Titans, did not express a desire to get him back.

Wade is a good fit for the Chiefs in part because he will be reunited with new Chiefs coach Todd Haley. Haley served as Wade's wide receivers coach with the Chicago Bears in 2003.
