Another Vikings staff member has been unveiled. Kirby Wilson is expected to become the running backs coach under head coach Mike Zimmer, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
James Saxon, the running backs coach under former head coach Leslie Frazier, wasn’t retained by the Vikings.
Wilson received two interviews with the Ravens for their offensive coordinator vacancy, but he did not get the position. He’s spent his last three stints as a running backs coach with the Buccaneers (2002-03), Cardinals (2004-06), and Steelers (2007-2013).
