The Vikings are getting set to host about 30 draft prospects on April 6-7 and that list will (no surprise) include a few cornerbacks.

One of them, according to the National Football Post, will be Akwasi Owusu-Ansah of Indiana (Pa.). Owusu-Ansah is a small-school standout who has also visited with Dallas and Miami. Owusu-Ansah, 6-feet, 197 pounds, has 4.32 speed in the 40-year dash. He can play corner, safety and return kicks.

He had 10 interceptions in four collegiate seasons, including eight two years ago, and scored nine touchdowns. That included seven on punt and kick returns.

Meanwhile, Viking Update reports (via Scout.com), that the team has scheduled a private workout next Friday with former Florida tight end Aaron Hernandez. Hernandez, who is 6-2, 250 pounds, is considered a second- or third-round pick.

He is a better receiver than a blocker and caught 111 passes for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns in three seasons.
