Rep. Keith Ellison to speak at fundraiser for Syrian refugees

U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., will be among the speakers at a fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on behalf of Syrian refugees at the Minneapolis Friends Meeting House, 4401 York Av. S. in Minneapolis.

The program will benefit the Syrian American Medical Society, which provides care for Syrians inside and outside the country, and Watan, an international organization that also aids Syrian refugees.
