Renville Co. worker dies in fall from grain elevator

A 28-year-old man who was working on an expansion of the grain elevator in Buffalo Lake, Minn., fell to his death Saturday, the Renville County Sheriff's Office said.

A 28-year-old contractor who was working on the grain elevator in Buffalo Lake, Minn., fell about 60 feet to his death Saturday, the Renville County Sheriff's Office said.

Local law enforcement officials and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.

The victim's name was being withheld pending notification of family.
