REMOTE PATROL

Nothing else matters: Seriously, Vikings vs. Packers. Watch. 3 p.m., Ch. 9.

Nice warmup: Texans vs. Colts is a nice early game to set the mood. Noon, Ch. 4.

Pride on Ice: Gophers face Boston College in Frozen Four rematch. 7 p.m., FSN.

Division title: Dallas vs. Washington in another big rivalry game. 7:20, Ch. 11.

CLICK PICK Ever wonder what the DJ name for all the Twins players on the 40-man roster would be? So did the good folks at twinkietown.com, who came up with -- among other things -- Mistah Good X-ample (Joe Mauer), Neckbeard 'n Sadness (Jared Burton) and Rotation Filla Outta (Kevin Correia). You can imagine what happens from here.

STAR GAZING Old friend Donovan McNabb was quoted recently about Andy Reid. He's trying to protect his former coach's legacy, but it also sounds like he's propping himself up in the process. "You look at everything he's been able to accomplish, I think it outweighs what you've seen the last two years," McNabb said. The Eagles are 4-11 this season.

I WAS EXCITED AS ANYONE FOR THE START OF THE WILD SEASON. THE BIG SIGNINGS, THE TOP PROSPECTS -- WHAT FAN WOULDN'T BE?

AND LIKE EVERYONE ELSE I WAS UPSET WITH THE LOCKOUT AND THEN ANGRY WITH THE LOCKOUT, BUT THEN I REALIZED SOMETHING. HOCKEY TICKETS ARE EXPENSIVE. REALLY EXPENSIVE. WITH THE MONEY I SAVED IN NOT GOING TO HOCKEY GAMES, I WAS ABLE TO GIVE A LITTLE BIT NICER GIFTS THIS YEAR TO EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY MYSELF. I FINALLY HAD THE MEANS TO GIVE MY BASEMENT A MUCH-NEEDED UPGRADE: A 60-INCH LED TV WITH BLU-RAY PLAYER AND SURROUND SOUND SPEAKERS. WATCHING HOCKEY IN HD ON A SCREEN THAT BIG IS PRETTY AWESOME. SO AWESOME THAT I THINK I'LL BE CHOOSING TO WATCH THE WILD FROM HOME FOR FREE RATHER THAN SPEND THE COUPLE HUNDRED BUCKS IT COSTS TO GO TO A GAME. NO TRAFFIC, NO PARKING, CHEAPER FOOD AND BEER.

Total team effort

I've been a Minnesota Vikings fan for nearly 40 years and that game against Houston was the most well-rounded win I think I've seen by the Vikes since the Super Bowl teams of old. Special teams defensive coverage was unbelievable. No mistakes or penalties on special teams offense. Best overall game the Vikes defense has played all year.

Everything came so easily for Iga Swiatek during a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Emma Raducanu on Saturday in the only Australian Open women's third-round match between two past Grand Slam champions — if you thought that meant it would be close, you'd have been rather wrong — that this was how she described it:
