From left : Rachel Brackeen, Connor Wright and Stephanie Porter stitched together a "grave blanket" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination and to honor his life, as part of a floral design class at the University of Minnesota's St. Paul campus. The piece comprises three parts: the presidential seal, the letters "JFK" and the 50th anniversary of Kennedy's shooting in Dallas. The piece uses Kennedy's favorite flowers — blue bachelor buttons, white roses, periwinkle blue iris, orchids, gardenias and Bells of Ireland.
