REIGNWOLF

9 p.m. • 7th Street Entry • 18-plus • $10

Not only did one of this Saskatchewan-by-way-of-Seattle guitar player's recent gigs prompt one Twitter fan to articulately exclaim "HOLY SHITBALLS!!!" (another show reportedly elicited "high fiving"), but his big-riff blow-ups also earned him a collaboration with Ben Shepherd of Soundgarden. The Pacific Northwest fretboard prowler, who performs both solo and with backing players, evokes early Black Keys and Monotonix with a hint of the Twin Cities' own Hastings 3000. The screeching-and-squalling blues rocker hopes to self-release a new album sometime next year. MICHAEL RIETMULDER
