Americano

Serves 1.

Note: This drink will have half the booze of a regular cocktail, but offers the complexity and bittersweet of the ingredients to make a cocktail that's very refreshing and not overly sweet. From Tattersall Distilling.

• 1.5 oz. Campari (or Tattersall Bitter Orange Liqueur)

• 1.5 oz. sweet vermouth (or Tattersall Italiano)

• About 3 oz. soda water

• 3 dashes of Peychauds bitters, for garnish

• Twist of grapefruit peel, for garnish

Directions

Pour Campari and vermouth into a 10-ounce Collins glass filled with ice. Fill the glass to the top with soda water and gently stir. Top with bitters. Garnish with Peychauds Bitters and a grapefruit twist.
