COON RAPIDS

March 18: The City Council approved a comprehensive plan update and submitted it to the Metropolitan Council for review. It will be returned to the city for final approval before the end of the year.

MOUNDS VIEW

March 24: The city officially named Jim Ericson its new city manager, a promotion for the former community development director. It is looking to fill Ericson's former position, with an application deadline of April 30. The city also needs to find a new public works director after the resignation of Greg Lee, who left to work for Anoka.
