On my nightstand:  "Nellie Stone Johnson: The Life of an Activist," as told to David Brauer; "Disgruntled," by Asali Solomon; "Reading Picture Books With Children," by Megan David Lambert; "Booked," by Kwame Alexander; "Jump Back, Paul: The Life and Poems of Paul Laurence Dunbar," by Sally Derby and illustrated by Sean Qualls, and an audio book in the car, "Radiance of Tomorrow," by Ishmael Beah.
