Gophers goalie Noora Raty and St. Cloud State forward Felicia Nelson are among 10 finalists for the Patty Kazmaier Award, which goes to the top female Division I hockey player. The winner will be announced March 9.
Raty is a freshman from Espoo, Finland, who helped her home country to the Olympic bronze medal at the Vancouver Games last week. Nelson is a senior from St. Paul.
Other finalists are Mercyhurst forwards Vicki Bendus, Jesse Scanzano and Bailey Bram, Minnesota Duluth forward Emmanuelle Blais, Dartmouth forward Sarah Parsons, New Hampshire forward Kelly Paton, Northeastern goalie Florence Schelling and St. Lawrence defenseman Britni Smith.
