New site is easier to navigate, county says.

Two weeks ago, St. Paul launched a glitzier, easier-to-navigate version of its website. On Tuesday, Ramsey County joined the cyber party, unveiling www.ramseycounty.us. The reinvented site features an improved responsive design and navigation for desktop, tablets and mobile devices.

An event calendar, site search, expanded interactive mapping and streamlined online job application portal are among the new features. A 90-second video tour on the county's YouTube channel introduces the site to users.

Visitors are encouraged to comment via the website feedback form.

The county's previous web address - www.co.ramsey.mn.us - will direct users to the new site.
