Rainfall Map for the East, Localized Flood Threat

A chilly rain will continue to dampen the Great Lakes region and will spreadfarther across the Northeast. There will be a localized flood threat in bothurban areas and areas along small rivers and streams.A widespread area from the Great Lakes area to the Northeast coast willreceive 0.5-1.0 inch of rain through the day on Tuesday. Higher amounts of 1-2inches will be unleashed over the mid-Atlantic coast and across much ofPennsylvania and New York. A few locales over eastern New England will have upto 3 inches of rain.
