Rain forced the suspension of play Saturday at the Minnesota State Open at Bunker Hills, resulting in the tournament being shortened to 36 holes.
After the course was deemed unplayable after heavy downpours Saturday, the tournament was reduced to a two-round championship, with Ben Welle of Village Green leading defending champion Andrew McCain of Dellwood Country Club by one stroke entering Sunday's final 18 holes.
