A storm will track farther south than usual on Friday, bringing steady rainto much of Southern California.The rainfall should be beneficial, but not enough to cause any seriousflooding or mudslides.
If you plan on traveling across the Sierra, the snow levels will be near5,000 feet, but accumulations should be less than 8 inches in most spots.
Behind the storm, it will turn windier and cooler into Saturday.
