Oswaldo Arcia tested his sprained right ankle this afternoon and it's not as bad as everyoe thought it would be. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire almost put Arcia in at DH but decided to wait. Arcia is available off the bench and could be the DH tomorrow.

Danny Santana is today's DH, as Gardy wanted to get Aaron Hicks in the lineup against lefthander Dallas Keuchel. Gardy almost put Hicks in right field but was worried about Hicks' lack of experience there - plus "Fly Ball Phil" Hughes is on the mound tonight, so the manager put Jason Kubel in right field because he's used to playing the position.

Sorry for the short spot. Lots going on with the draft. In the eighth round, the Twins selected Keaton Steele, a righthander from Missouri. In the ninth round, they selected Robbinsdale native Max Murphy, a centerfielder from Bradley.
