Rain delay; Blackburn looks to end 13-start winless streak

Twins righthander Nick Blackburn hasn't won a decision since July 8, 2011, but he gets another chance tonight against the Blue Jays.

Nick Blackburn heads to the mound on Friday night against Toronto, looking for his first win in 14 starts.

His last win came July 8, 2011 at Chicago. Since then, he is 0-8 with a 5.88 ERA in 13 starts.

The Twins are 0-5 in Blackburn's starts this season, and it's been a real struggle for the righthander, though not as bad as it's been for lefthander Francisco Liriano.

Blackburn did have a quality start two outings ago against the Angels, when he pitched six innings and allowed three earned runs in a 4-3 loss. He also pitched pretty well on April 14 against the Rangers before leaving with right shoulder stiffness.
