Visitors can explore the exhibit “Victor Vasarely: Op Art Master,” featuring his groundbreaking optical-illusion artwork through Feb. 24, 2019, at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson art museum. The traveling exhibition, highlighting his influence on poster design and more, includes more than 150 pieces, including paintings, serigraphs and lithographs from a collection housed at the Herakleidon Museum in Athens, Greece (lywam.org).

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train, trimmed with lights and carrying holiday spirit, will wrap up its annual journey through Minnesota this week. The train will stop in more than a dozen communities statewide to help raise money and collect food for local food shelves. At each stop, live music on a boxcar stage will be provided by the Trews and Willy Porter, and a brief presentation will be held. The train will stop today at 4 p.m. in Winona, 4:30 p.m. in Wabasha and 8:30 p.m. in Hastings. Monday through Wednesday it will make more stops in the Twin Cities area before heading outstate and making its final stop at 4:15 p.m. Fri. in Elbow Lake, Minn.
