Find outdoor fun on ice at the Arrowhead Ice Fishing and Winter Show Fri.-next Sun. at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Guests will get tips on ice fishing, planning trips and trends, and discounts on winter gear and equipment will be offered. The show also features an appearance by Shawn "Mr. Gold" Pomrenke from the TV show "Bering Sea Gold," a live animal exhibit and more. Duluth's Glensheen Mansion, one of Minnesota's grandest estates, is open for holiday tours. Visitors can get a close look at the 39-room historic house decorated with dozens of trees, garlands and other festive decor ($19-$30). While there, guests can also stroll the grounds to check out the Great Glensheen Outdoor Tacky Christmas Display ($5) and on select Wednesdays visitors can make holiday wreaths ($20; glensheen.org).

Visitors can bask in holiday traditions from the late 19th century during an Old World Christmas celebration today, Sat., next Sun., and Dec. 15-16 at the Old World Wisconsin historic site.
