Catch "The Way We Worked," a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian that looks at the history of the American worker, before it leaves the Winona County History Center in downtown Winona. The free exhibit, which runs through Jan. 26, examines the forces that have shaped Americans' work lives over the past 150 years and the role of work in our individual and collective identities. "The Way We Worked" will then head to museums in Owatonna, Virginia and Baudette before heading out of state. The Winona County History Center is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and noon-4 p.m. weekends (open 9 a.m.-noon New Year's Eve; closed New Year's Day). For details, call 1-507-454-2723 or visit www.winonahistory.org. KATHLEEN CLONTS
