Taylor Swift will get animated on the big screen Star Tribune photo by Bruce Bisping Taylor Swift will be a vocal actor for the animated movie "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax." Other voices in the film include Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, Ed Helms and Betty White. L.A. Reid resigned as head of the Island Def Jam label. His contract was due to end in December. Rumor has it that he will be a judge on Simon Cowell's new "X Factor" talent show. Before becoming a successful executive behind Usher, Kanye West, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and others, he was a hit producer (with Babyface) and a recording artist (the Deele). Not only is Gucci Mane releasing his "The Return of Mr. Zone 6" on Tuesday, he's promising another album this year, with Waka Flocka Flame called "The Ferrari Boys."… Anthrax's Scott Ian will take two weeks off this summer when he and his wife expect their first child; Ian will miss several European concerts. Sepulutra's Andreas Kisser will fill in. Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz fame is writing his second opera, "Doctor Dee," about the medical and scientific adviser to England's Queen Elizabeth I. It is scheduled to premiere at the Manchester International Festival this summer. … Poly Styrene, formerly of 1970s punks X-Ray Spex, will offer a solo album, "Generation Indigo," April 26.
