Laura Larson is the libero on Lakeville North's top-ranked Class 3A volleyball team. The senior is headed to the University of Arizona next year.
The best movie I've seen in the last year? "The Lucky One."

Three words or phrases my friends or teammates might use to describe me? Hard-working; intense; funny.

Three songs I never skip on my iPod are ... "Mercy" by Kanye West; "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift; "My Homies Still" by Lil Wayne.

What are your three favorite apps? Snapchat; Twitter; Instagram.

Who do you like to follow the most on Twitter, and why? Rory McIlory because he's my favorite golfer.

At my first varsity practice, I felt ... nervous.

What is your favorite meal before a game? Subway.

What is your most memorable moment as a high school athlete? Making it to the state tournament two years in a row and winning it in 2010!

How do you balance school and sports during the year? I try to get most of my homework done during school or before games, so I don't have to stay up too late.

If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be? That the season would be longer, so we could play more matches.

In 10 years, I hope I'm ... a college graduate working as a pharmacist and still playing volleyball on the side.

Best sports advice you ever received? "Success is never given, it must be achieved."
