Twins split their split-squad games

An MRI exam on Alexi Casilla's knee revealed an inflamed bursa but no structural damage. He's day-to-day.

Liam Hendriks was excellent on Friday against Toronto - one hit over five innings - and it looks like he's going to start the third game in Baltimore.

Pitching coach Rick Anderson pretty much said that Nick Blackburn is going to start the home opener on April 9 against the Angels. Blackburn has a 2.12 ERA this spring.

Scott Baker will pitch in a minor league game at Boston at 10 a.m. Saturday as he works his way back from elbow problems. Indications are that he will remain behind to build his arm strength up when the rest of the team breaks camp,
