Age: 29. Neighborhood: Northeast Minneapolis. Occupation: Producer/DJ (Wak Lyf), car-washing magician.

Q: What are your favorite DJ nights in Minneapolis?

A: In terms of pressing the envelope of electronic music, I like Mode Mpls at Honey.

Q: Wak Lyf has quite the following on the Internet. What's the key to building an online audience as a DJ?

A: Wak Lyf is the Internet brought to life. We are meme-crazy, Tumblr-posting, tweet-seeking viral trolls. We want our parties to feel like you're inside the Internet.

Q: Is there anything similar about DJing and throwing dance parties vs. washing cars for a living?

A: They are actually both very therapeutic. When I DJ, I'm just playing music and making people dance. Washing and detailing cars is great because the car comes in dirty and you make it clean. Shout out to Soapy Joe's in St. Paul!

Q: What's your favorite snack food?

A: I live a true pizza lifestyle. I love pizza! I most definitely get down on some tacos, too! To be honest, though, I'm not a huge fan of taco pizza. Get over it.

Q: How would you describe your personal style?

A: Pretty much the same as Michelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
