Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying an apparent homicide victim found Friday in Mankato.
A woman's body was found on a grassy median on North Victory Drive, east of Hwy. 22, in a commercial area of the city. She was described as a white female age 18-25, about 5 feet 5 and 150 pounds, with dark shoulder-length hair. On her left wrist, she was wearing a leather bracelet with a turquoise-colored stone and a silver dove charm. Her right wrist bore two Silly Bandz, blue and yellow, and a string of multicolored beads. She had a navel piercing with a black and white design on the stone, a headband with a multicolored print, pink toenail polish and fingernail polish in several colors -- white, silver and maroon. She had a surgical scar on her left knee.
