The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension canceled an alert early Friday, hours after asking for the public's help in finding a Chisago couple.
The Lakes Area Police Department, which serves the cities of Chisago and Lindstrom, had been looking for Stephanie Jo Hendren, 33, and Christopher Hendren, 35. On Friday, the BCA said she had been found safe and he was in custody.
Stephanie was last seen at the family's home early Thursday evening. Her disappearance, along with that of 3-year-old Damien and 7-year-old Jordan, prompted the BCA alert, which was amended later to say that the children had been located. Authorities offered no information about their circumstances.
