Prior Lake man, 24, dies in icy crash

A 24-year-old Prior Lake man died Friday evening when he lost control of his car and crashed head-on into another vehicle on Hwy. 12 near Delano, according to the State Patrol.

Road conditions were icy when Nathan Lindmeyer was driving on Hwy. 12 and lost control of his Ford Focus, colliding with a Toyota Sequoia driven by Johana Baughn, 39, of Delano. The accident happened about 6 p.m.

Baughn and her 10-year-old daughter, Brianna, were taken to Ridgeview Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Lindmeyer, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
