Preseason metro dream team: Offense

All are seniors unless noted

Quarterback

Brandon Alt, Park of Cottage Grove, jr.: 6-2, 190 pounds. A true pocket passer who is beginning his third year as a starter. Passed for nearly 2,000 yards as a sophomore. Strong-armed with touch.

Running backs

Prince Kruah, Osseo: 5-10, 180. Powerful between the tackles with the vision to bounce runs outside. Rushed for 1,265 yards and 14 touchdowns and averaged 9.2 yards on his 137 carries.

Isaac Collins, Maple Grove: 5-9, 180. Has the best burst through a hole in the metro. Gets to top speed quickly. Gained 1,022 yards in 2014 despite sharing time in the backfield.

Dominik London, East Ridge, jr.: 5-8, 195. Runs downhill with great vision, has ability to cut at top speed. Shakes off tackles well. Had 1,192 yards rushing as a sophomore.

Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman, Breck: 6-3, 190. He has excellent body control, can leap above defenders and competes well for the ball. Will play in the Big Ten at Northwestern.

Isaiah Weston, St. Michael-Albertville: 6-4, 185. Considered one of the best overall athletes in the state. Has a 40-inch vertical. Was 2014 Mississippi 8 receiver of the year. Committed to Northern Iowa.

Linemen

Sam Schlueter, Mayer Lutheran: 6-7. 285. The most highly recruited offensive line prospect in Minnesota. Obliterates opponents. Extremely athletic for his size. Committed to Gophers in April.

Conner Olson, Monticello: 6-5½, 285. Perhaps the most physical of the offensive linemen. Relentless, explodes into his opponent and keeps his pads low. Surprisingly nimble. Gophers-bound.

Benn Olson, Burnsville: 6-5, 265. Big frame with room to add bulk. Intelligent and never misses an assignment. Excels at pulling and leading at the edges. Committed to Northern Illinois.

Eric Rousemiller, Lakeville South, jr.: 6-4, 295. Minnesota's best center prospect is a mauler who can overpower opposing noseguards. Great leg drive and always finished his blocks.

Kicker

Grant Ryerse, East Ridge, jr.: 6-3, 214. His big, accurate leg is a weapon on kickoffs and takes the pressure off the offense with the ability to make long field goals.
