Prepping for CSA season

Learn all about your friendly neighborhood CSA -- short for Community Supported Agriculture -- farm at an upcoming fair.

With the weather forecasts calling for more snow, it's tough to believe that CSA season is just around the corner. But it is, and a handful of Twin Cities natural foods co-ops are conducting farmer-customer meet-and-greets in the coming weeks. Learn more about Community Supported Agriculture -- where consumers pay up front, and farmers deliver fresh produce, usually once a week, during the growing season -- at the following upcoming events:

March 11 and 12: River Market in Stillwater

April 2: Eastside Food Co-op in Minneapolis

April 16: Seward Co-op in Minneapolis.
