Preparing for another media circus

Brett Favre talks about returning to Green Bay today

October 28, 2009 at 2:39PM

Today should be another busy/fun day at Winter Park as Brett Favre holds his weekly press conference. One TV satellite truck was already parked outside the facility early this morning.

Favre likely will try and downplay his return to Green Bay, instead focusing his attention on the team. But he even admitted after Sunday's game that his return is a big story this week.

We also have our conference calls with Packers coach Mike McCarthy and wide receiver Donald Driver this afternoon.

The Vikings return to practice and we'll keep you posted on whether wide receiver Bernard Berrian is able to do any work after injuring his left hamstring in the second quarter Sunday. We'll also see if cornerback Antoine Winfield has made any significant progress with his right foot injury.

As a programming note, Judd is heading to Green Bay tonight to get a feel for what Packers fans think and feel about Favre's return. He'll be reporting from there the rest of the week.

Check back throughout the day for highlights.
