Class 1A, Section 5 final: Ethan Roe scored from 25 yards with 38 seconds left, giving Blake a 1-0 victory Thursday over Breck in the Class 1A, Section 5 boys' soccer final.
Class 2A, Section 2 final: Edina scored on all four of its penalty shots in a shootout after two scoreless overtime sessions, taking a 3-2 victory over Minnetonka in boys' soccer. Ethan Ruwe stopped two penalty shots for Edina.
Girls' soccer
Class 1A, Section 3 final: Belle Smith deflected a penalty kick off the crossbar and out to give St. Paul Academy a 3-2 shootout victory over Holy Angels.
Class 1A, Section 5 final: Amanda Cassidy and Vivian Shinall scored two goals each to lead Benilde-St. Margaret's past Totino-Grace 5-1.

Derek Shoen rushed for a state-record 570 yards on 39 carries and scored six touchdowns to lead Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman to a 50-42 victory over Madelia in a Nine-Man game on Wednesday in Truman, Minn. Shoen, a junior, broke the record of 464 yards set by DeLaSalle's Alexander Robinson on Oct. 7, 2005.
