Tre Jones scored 21 points to lead the Class 4A, No. 6 Apple Valley past host Minnetonka 83-74 on Thursday night in boys' basketball. Four players scored in double digits for the Eagles, as Nathan Macho, Luke Martens and Spencer Rolland each had 12, while Mohamed Kone added 10. Burt Hedstrom led the Skippers with 28 points, while teammates Isaiah Carver-Bagley and Jalen Dearring added 16 and 13.

Delano 81, Chanhassen 74: Calvin Wishart scored 28 points and Mitchell Kurtz added 22 to lead the Class 3A, No. 3 Tigers past the visiting Storm. Derek Techam had 10 points for the Tigers. Trey Prince and Chris Wandling led the Storm with 16 and 15 points, while Cooper Conklin and Henry Weisman added 14 apiece.

Girls' basketball

Mahtomedi 81, Maranatha 71: Emma Grothaus scored 33 points to lead the Class 3A, No. 3 Zephyrs past the visiting Mustangs. Marisa Gustafson added 18 points for the Zephyrs, who moved to 3-0. Jaclyn Jarnot scored 16 points for the Mustangs, including her 1,000th career point during the second half.

Holy Angels 61, Bloomington Kennedy 49: Kaylie Van Der Wer scored 21 points and Destinee Oberg added 16 to lead the Class 3A, No. 2 Stars past the visting Eagles. Zaraya March led the Eagles with 15 points, while teammates Alyssa Bryan-Jeffries and Honour Finley added 13 and 11.

Boys' hockey

Breck 2, Wayzata 1 (OT): Austin Heidemann scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead the Class 1A, No. 4 Mustangs over the Class 2A, No. 13 Trojans at home. Grant Anderson scored for the Trojans.

Eastview 4, Lakeville North 3 (OT): Chris Fan scored the game-winner in overtime to lead the unranked Lighting to an upset of the Class 2A, No. 10 Panthers. Eastview's Tyler Kukowski and Jake Ford each scored in the first to give the Lightning an early two-goal lead. Shayne Griffin put the Cougars on the board in the second, before Henry Enebak's two third-period goals gave North a brief lead. Eastview's Nate Bordson scored a goal in the final minute to send the game into overtime.

Stillwater 4, Roseville 0: Seth Eisele led the Class 2A, No. 2 Ponies to a shutout of the visiting Raiders. Luke Manning and Noah Cates led the scoring with a goal and two assists apiece. Mason Bartosh and T.J. Sagissor also scored for the Ponies.

Girls' hockey

Cretin-Derham Hall 4, Lakeville South 2: Anna Klein finished the night with three points on two goals and an assist to lead the Class 2A, No. 9 Raiders past the No. 8 Cougars. Erin Meyers and Emily King also scored for the Raiders. Emily Fischler and Halle Gill scored for the Cougars.

St. Paul United 2, Eastview 0: Jillian Oncay needed only 11 saves to lead Class 1A, No. 5 United to a shutout of the Class 2A, No. 16 Lightning. Joie Phelps and Lauren Boettcher scored for United. The Lightning's Kaitlyn Pellicci had 31 saves in the loss.

Shakopee 2, Wayzata 1: Tristen Truax scored two third-period goals to lead the unranked Sabers to an upset of the Class 2A, No. 10 Trojans. Camryn Noess had 23 saves in net for the win. Emily Wisnewski scored the lone goal for the Trojans, assisted by Alexa Ocel.
