Hopkins tops Minnetonka
• HOPKINS 29, MINNETONKA 18: Senior running back Harry Momah's 3-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter sealed the Lake Conference victory for the Royals. Momah's game-clinching score was set up by an interception by Mannie Kugmeh the previous drive.
• BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 41, RICHFIELD 0: Senior Zach Ubben passed for four touchdowns and completed all 12 of his passes, including an 84-yard bomb to Kevin Lorton, to lead the Jaguars to an easy Metro West victory. Ubben, who also rushed for a touchdown, needed only one half to dismantle the Spartans defense as the game was called at halftime because of lightning.
• HILL MURRAY 17, ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 14: Eric Burns' 22-yard field goal in the fourth quarter lifted the Pioneers to their first victory over the Cadets since 2003.
• EAST RIDGE 50, WOODBURY 0: The Raptors, ranked No. 4 in the Star Tribune Metro Top 10, ran up 50 points on their crosstown rival in a game that was called with 1:38 left in the second quarter because of lightning. Junior defensive back Griffen Davis returned a punt for a touchdown and intercepted two passes.
• OSSEO 47, SPRING LAKE PARK 13: Prince Kruah rushed for 295 yards and three touchdown on 14 carries to pace the Orioles to a Northwest Suburban victory. Kruah's performance was highlighted by a 99-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
• MOUND WESTONKA 21, ANNANDALE 16: Defensive lineman Joe Duffy picked up a fumble and rumbled 27 yards into the end zone to lead the White Hawks to their first home Wright County victory in five years. Duffy's scoop-and-score gave his team a 21-8 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
• APPLE VALLEY 50, FARMINGTON 0: Senior Matt Morse passed for 175 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Eagles to a blowout South Suburban victory. Morse added 70 yards rushing, including a 42-yard touchdown run to open the game. Donovan Dalton caught three passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
• ST. FRANCIS 45, CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI 12: Quarterback Hunter Trautman went 10-for-12 for 255 yards and threw four touchdown passes as St. Francis cruised to a Mississippi 8 victory. Wide receiver Tyler Pallum and tight end Blake Moreno each caught two touchdown passes. Pallum finished with three catches for 151 yards. Junior running back Max Greene rushed for 170 yards on 19 carries.
