MATT TODD

The Magic senior point guard is at his best distributing the ball.
That doesn't mean Todd won't drive to the basket for a layup or knock down a three-pointer against an opponent. He recently surpassed 2,000 career points, and is on the verge of becoming the school's all-time leading scorer (boys or girls).
Grace Sawatzke is the girls' school record holder with 2,014 career points while Nate Holmstadt owns the boys' mark at 2,106. Todd has 2,004.
"The hard work he's put in is paying off," Monticello coach Jason Schmidt said. " I'm excited to see him chase down Nate Holmstadt's school record."
Todd is averaging 29 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 4.7 steals for the Magic (5-2). He set the school record for points in a single-game last year when he netted 52 against Buffalo. His high this season is 45 in a four-point loss to Orono.
"Matt's work ethic and leadership have pushed our program to an extremely high level," Schmidt said.
